Underrated '80s science-fiction movie that has a great concept (dream-psychology) and a decent suspense plot (entering dreams as a means to assassinate people). It does suffer from some bad synthesizer music and some dated effects (but they could be written off as the dreamer's interpretation.
..so you could argue that the effects can't be dated).
