Review of Dreams (1990) by Gail L — 30 Aug 2007
This movie was almost too strange for me the first time. I didn't realize how much I liked it, and how poignant it was until my thoughts returned to it again and again as time went by. This series of short films is thematically linked by the supernatural, among other things.
It's beautifully filmed and incredibly engossing. I think Kurosawa is the greatest movie director I have ever seen.
