I refused to watch this movie for the longest time because that damn Beyonce was in it but I finally gave it a chance. Everyone who has watched this movie has raved about it to me... to me I wouldn't even place it in the same league as Mamma Mia, Across The Universe, Hairspray or Rent or anything but Jennifer Hudson certainly had some standout moments music wise but the acting was really sub par.
Not horrible by any means but not really my cup of tea.
