A hot mess of a movie, how did it get good reviews? I generally love musicals, this one was boring, long, repetitive, soap-opera, cheesy, shallow, and poorly done. I actually wanted to shut it off. Seriously, like a good damn period infomercial for Hudson and Knowles complete with a showcase of wood robe and wig changes.
Every five minutes was a new costume and annoying , trivial, and dumb song like I'm driving a Cadillac-yea who gives a shit. With such talent, a big letdown. Beyonce can't act. The ending which featured Jamie Fox with a dumbfounded look on his face.
pretty much summed up my experience. I thought this was going to be a good biopic on the Supremes boo. All I liked was the costumes ugh.
