Review of Dreamgirls (2006) by Theresa S — 28 Apr 2012
This was the perfect musical. Jennifer Hudson deserved that Oscar. It seemed a bit like a bio pic like Ray, but the music carries this film. Beyonce was good in this film but I think she needs to work on her acting chops.
However, her song was my favorite of the film. Jamie Foxx always delivers an established performance even though by the end of the movie he is the most detested character.
