Movie night with Iris.
This is the kind of musical that reminds me why I don't like musicals. Especially as two of the characters keep singing away from the big song numbers, when everyone else is talking (like you do in the real world).
That said the early rise of Motown (sorry not supposed to call it that) gives an energy and enthusiasm to the first half.
