I liked this movie more than I thought I was going to. I actually could've given an extra star just on Jennifer Hudson's acting but I felt like it was way too chopped up. I feel like the only character you really could connect to was Effie because she was the only one they gave real meat too, except for maybe Lorrell, which I loved Anika Noni Rose a lot.
I felt like there was nothing to Beyonce or Jamie Foxx's acting and the characters were just hollow.
