Yes, I did enjoy this film. I thought it deserved it Golden Globe and Jennifer Hudson her Oscar. Acting and singing was superb though if you don't like all this RnB-singing-everything-at-the-top-of-your-voice style then you want to reconsider watching this.
The plot was a strong one: it showcased the right amount of people at the right time and it was overall very fluent and believable. The only thing was, in my opinion, if Jennifer Hudson hadn't been in this film with all the hype of this being her first movie roll, plus the fact that she got eliminated out of American Idol and she was singing all this and all that in this movie, the film wouldn't have been as good.
