Review of Dreamcatcher (2003) by Richard C — 15 Jan 2010
Dreamcatcher is kinda brilliant but its also badly executed. And most of the problem with it lies in the source material. it's intriguing but I'm not sure if it can be interpreted properly to a cinematic feature with out losing some of the juice that made it such an enjoyable read.
Theres a group of attractive, talented actors in this that deliever rather falty performances mostly because of the screenplays insepid dialogue. But theres lots of ooze, and mysteries galore and sure it doen't make much sense but there still a lot of creative fun to be had with this creature feature popcorn flick.
