Review of Dreamcatcher (2003) by Michael C — 05 Jan 2011
The first scene with one of the parasitic alien things made this seem like it wasn't gonna be too bad. I was wrong. Most of the parts are plain STUPID, and I'm not kidding. Those scenes didn't make a bit of sense.
The acting was horrible, not as much blood and gore as I was expecting (even though it says this movie is rated R for gore), and it moves slow on some parts. And the special effects, wow. You could tell that (mostly) all of the aliens were fake in the making.
And the worst thing is, Morgan Freeman is one of the best-known actors and he is in this! Stephen King has wrote a few good stories but this has to be one of his worsts.
