Review of Dreamcatcher (2003) by Toby-Linn S — 16 Feb 2009
This was a good movie, I liked it more than the first time I saw it. I think it helped that I just read the book. Characters and acting were great, but I could have done without the awful British accent that Mr.
Gray puts on. I also could have done without the ridiculous ending, I'm sure the book ending would have worked if they'd rewritten it a bit. Plot was good, but it seemed like it would've been hard for people who hadn't read the book to understand what was going on.
It would have worked better as a miniseries, I think because of the huge amount of stuff they left out. To me, it was like watching the beginning of a movie and then skipping to the ending. It felt like a really rushed ending.
But still an interesting movie with good acting!
