Review of Dreamcatcher (1999) by Andy G — 13 Feb 2011
-"Fuck-me-Freddy".
-Weak, weak 'snow-storm'.
-Interesting "memory-warehouse" scenes.
-I'm pretty sure Thomas Jane's character drives the same Toyota in The Mist, also adapted off a Steven King story.
-When in doubt, drink crappy beer while waiting in the freezing cold.
-Lots of parallels to The Mist when you look at the broad spectrum.
-Starts off with a chilling, (no pun intended) spooky entry that quickly becomes hokey and run-of-the-mill.
-Great alien animation/rendering considering it still looked good in HD even now.
