Review of Dream House (2011) by Justin J — 27 Jul 2012
C+.
I guess I am glad I don't remember the trailer, because I guess it gave a lot about the movie away. I did enjoy this movie, but not as much as I wanted to. It got really weird and confusing towards the middle of the movie, but the ending made up for that though and I am glad they ended it like that. ((SPOILERS)) Ok, so, the movie starts out with Will and his wife Libby and their two kids moving into a new house. After Will finds out that there were murders in his new house that's when things start to get confusing but to shorten it all up, Naomi Watts character Ann divorced her husband and kept there daughter and their house, leaving the husband with nothing. So Ann's husband called a sort of hit man kinda guy to kill his ex-wife and daughter, but the hit man went to the wrong house and killed the wrong family. So that's the twist that you find out at the end. So Will is actually innocent.
