Review of Dream House (2011) by Sherry A — 30 Oct 2012

I didn't see any trailers for this movie, didn't have any expectations. I almost didn't watch it because the rating was so awful. In the end I figured at least Daniel Craig's in it and it wouldnt be a total loss.

I doubted my decision at first because there was a weird tension and the dialog seemed amiss in the beginning. But I stuck with it because the acting was good, though the characters were frustrating, and well.

.. curiosity. Once the back story unfolded the tension could be named and the dialog understood. Get past the hump. Its a good thriller. I'm not sure how it was predictable, as stated by other reviewers, unless the promotionals really threw the plot out there.
