Review of Dream House (2011) by Nicole G — 01 Nov 2013
With a riveting and satisfying end to what is a mysterious and twisted thriller, Dream House starts off with intrigue, there's no hint as to what drives the story so it's all about waiting patiently.
This chiller focuses on Will and Libby Atenton who move into a seemingly dream home only to realise it was once a murder scene. But behind the murder lies a shocking twist that truly does the story justice, giving it that edge to overshadow some of the rushed writing and lack of visual fair.
Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts are three big and hugely talented stars who are easily liked and they alone make this watchable, but they're characters aren't the most memorable in recent memory.
I think what I loved most about this film are the twists which are shocking and straight after come them scenes of excitement which see the characters descend into madness or fear! Starting convoluted but eventually becoming clear, this is a must see for fans of it's three lead stars.
