A macabre and extremely black humoured slasher film interspersed with serious social commentary about the rising house market in Hong Kong. The tone of the film feels schizophrenic but counterintuitively seems to work well as a whole.
Bonus points are given for the inventiveness and gruesomeness of the kills.
