Review of Dream Home (2010) by William H — 27 Mar 2011

Japan has "Audition", Korea has "Old Boy", and now Hong Kong has Pang Ho-cheung's "Dream Home", what unites these three films? Excessive and visceral gore. Watch it with a sense of humor, and perhaps you'll get through it.

I think there's a lot more to it than just the slasher film that it's sold to be, I mean I felt sorry for the girl. I think it's a good film with a very good director, I just think that he could've done more by leaving it as just a slasher or a full movie looking at the taboo topics of Hong Kong.

Good movie nonetheless.
