Review of Dream Home (2010) by Jennie R — 14 May 2013

This is one gory slasher flick with some scenes that aren't going to leave me anytime soon. Based on a "true story", the story is original. Hong Kong's housing market is outragiously priced and Cheng is determined to get her dream home at any cost.

The movie flips back and forth in time and give you a good picture of what the main storyline is but it seems to jerk the viewer too much and some parts left me confused as to where I was in the story.

The killing scenes are over the top gore and will be enjoyed by those who love gore. Lots of blood and lots of guts. Some scenes are tongue in cheek which seemed a bit out of place in this film.
