Review of Dream Home (2010) by Brian C — 13 Apr 2013

No expense was spared in making this brutal slasher movie. Cheng does what any logical person would do when property values are too high and her two jobs aren't making ends meet. She goes on a killing rampage to cause property prices in the building she wants to go down. There is some sick humour at work here, and Dream Home is fun to watch, except for one scene. It was too brutal, and frankly ruins most empathy one would have for Cheng.

Otherwise this is a top notch movie, and the ending is so awesome in its irony that it brought a smile to me, despite the fact that Cheng is a complete sociopath.
