Review of Dream a Little Dream (1989) by John P — 07 Mar 2010
I found this movie back when I really loved the Coreys (of course, how else do you find it?), so I instantly liked it. But even though I was young I still knew it was not the greatest. My mind was clouded by the Coreys, the awesome soundtrack, and the fact that it was filmed in my hometown. Those are the positive parts (if you count the inclusion of the Coreys positive). The negative side of the movie includes plot holes and questionable acting. Jason Robards was great, always is. But the other weren't. The plot is kind of cool; it's an interesting idea. I just think it was executed badly[even though I don't think it'd cross over into the mainstream well in the first place].
An 80 for the soundtrack and filming location.
