Review of Dread (2009) by Lee R — 22 Apr 2010
Based on a Clive Barker short story this translates quite well to screen (As do many of his stories, Nightbreed, Hellraiser..) It does take quite a long time to get going but once you have watched the first 45 minutes of character development it really picks up.
Worth a watch but probably not for the squeemish, its not gory or jumpy but it will get inside your head.
