Review of Dragonslayer (1981) by Aidan S — 27 May 2007
Extremely cliched plot, flat generic characters, and an all-too-predictable plot combine to make a mediocre product that is little more than the sum of its parts. It's not a bad move, but if you are even a casual fantasy fan, you've probably seen everything this movie has to offer, and seen it done better.
Be warned, though, that this film is considerably gorier than your average fantasy fare. If dragon entrails and chewed-off human appendages aren't your thing, you may want to steer clear.
