There's nothing I can even say for this. I loved the original manga as well as the anime when I was young, but this is an atrocity to that. It's not even an "evolution" - it's an execution of one of the best animated series to come out of Japan. I can't believe Chow Yun Fat and Emmy Rossum sacrificed their careers for this pile.
On a side note: did anyone else realize that Justin Chatwin looks a bit like Billie Joe Armstrong?
