I'll give fans the benefit of doubt, this film probably defecated on the original story and characters, but you guys should give this movie some credit. It makes me WANT to see how much better the original series was.
Sure it's cheesy and awkward, but the basic elements are still there. I liked this movie okay, and I'm sure I'll love the original series.
