Review of Dragonball Evolution (2009) by Brian H — 15 Apr 2012
Emmy Rossum was basically the reason I saw this movie. And, of course, the whole "Over 9000" thing. Thankfully, Goku's power levels got that high by the end of the movie. Everyone did a bad acting job, but occasionally, Emmy Rossum and Chow Yun-Fat had some funny dialogue.
It was cliched, but fun a times. Sadly, Piccolo didn't even have a backstory. The effects weren't even good; they looked like a high schooler did them with a green screen. It also ripped off of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
They used the term "airbending." Geez.
