Review of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993) by Mannie L — 20 Aug 2008
Solid pseudo-biographical drama about the life and death of martial arts cinema legend Bruce Lee. Jason Scott Lee gives and outstanding performance, both physically and dramatically as the adult Bruce Lee.
Lauren Holly also turns in a good performance as Linda Lee. There's a lot of creative license taken in the presentation of Bruce's life and the hard-core fan needs to take it with a huge grain of salt.
However, the movie is very enjoyable and the fighting solid. Look for a cameo from Bruce's daughter Shannon Lee as a party singer (doing a little Mama's & Papa's).
