Review of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993) by Ali S — 28 Feb 2009

I preface all of this by saying that I am not really a Bruce Lee fan. It's not that I dislike him, it's just that I haven't really followed his career or been exposed to much of his work.

Not surprisingly, this telling of Bruce Lee's life seemed highly Hollywoodized to me. Bruce Lee is an interesting character but the plot screams fake and overdramatic. The acting is alright but nothing fantastic. The film lacks any real depth and meaning. And there are some just plain odd moments.
