Review of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993) by Patrick C — 28 Sep 2009

A very good dramatic biography on the life of the late great martial artist Bruce Lee. Jason Scott Lee filled the role really well giving a very worthy performance.

The directing was well done although all the fight scenes could have had more realism. A lot of it felt like it was out of a Van Damme movie when really it should have a more realistic tone. The supernatural elements were a bit out of place too and they could have been handled better.

All in all this was a terrific drama but don't expect this to be any sort of Martial Arts masterpiece.
