Review of Dragon Inn (1967) by Mattias E — 26 Nov 2008
Of the great new wave of wuxia movies of the 80's and 90's Dragon Inn is one of the best. Amazing how beautiful and coherent it turned out since the directing of it largely seems to have been a collective effort.
Odd that Tsui Hark didn't claim full credit since it gratly overshadows every movie in the genre he directed on his own, including the acclaimed Swordsman cycle. Of all the superstars involved in this, Brigitte Lin shines the most.
