Seems that in order for The Asylum to put out a good movie they need Mark Atkins involved. Here he is directing, editing, writing and the DP of yet another well done low budget film. Set in what looks like the same location as another dragon film (Reign of Fire), this film manages to tell a story and make it look bigger than it really is thanks to good camera placement, good editing and a story that almost seems as though it could have been a portion of a Conan picture complete with evil wizard and a curse of gargoyles.

Quite enjoyable compared to most the stuff that comes out of The Asylum and worth checking out for fans of the genre. As long as you remember this is a low budget film, and can get passed the less than stellar CG work, you should have a good time with it. And can we please see more of Shinead Byrne? That woman is gorgeous and has some acting talent to boot (another rarity in these Asylum films)!
