Review of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero (2022) by Bertobellamy — 20 Aug 2022

It was nice for a change to get a Piccolo/Gohan-centric film, but why then show a whole sequence with Goku and Vegeta that goes nowhere? Also, the animation looks ugly during that part, unlike the rest of the film, where the mix between 2D and 3D wasn't as bad as expected.

But these Dragon Ball films keep being tiring. The exposition-heavy segments are boring, and their insistence on bringing villains from the past is annoying. It's time for the franchise to move on.

Nevertheless, there are some cool segments in there. Almost all the fights are awesome, and it was great to see super-powered Gohan again.
