Review of Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker (2012) by Kalli S — 16 Jun 2012
I like how this film increases the tension between the different factions. Since the mood was already set during the first two games, it really adds depth to the story and shows that the rivalry is spread throughout the realm. Not just settled in Kirkwall.
The animation reminds me of cut scenes for a low budget, cartoonish game which takes away some of the appeal. However, I do like Cassandra's character as well as Frenic and Galyan. Hopefully they'll make cameos in Dragon Age III.
Aside from all of the cliches and its predictability, I thought that it was an interesting little side story. Still, I could have done without seeing it all the same.
Just wish things were as easy to take down in the game as Cassandra made it seem in the movie.
