Review of Dragnet (1987) by Ifiok O — 23 Oct 2010
Just ok movie here. Seems very odd watching Tom Hanks as the goofy guy to Dan Ackroyd's serious one. It's also very awkward to see Ackroyd top billed over Tom Hanks and being played out that way.
I'm very glad that Hanks' career blossomed the way it did (Big was his first "smart" comedy imho) and Ackroyd was left floundering. Ah well, them are the breaks. An ok movie, got some laughs, but don't expect much.
