Review of Drag Me to Hell (2009) by Don S — 21 May 2013
Seeing how this is a Raimi movie, maybe I was expecting too much. The story is mediocre and unoriginal. It has a few cheap jump scares and not much more. I usually like Lohman, but she underplays her role immensely - she has this dazed look throughout the movie, even before the curse is placed on her.
The slight "twist" was simple to figure out. On the other hand, the effects were excellent and made this worthwhile.
