Review of Drag Me to Hell (2009) by Angelina C — 15 Jul 2013

I wouldnt mess with old ladies with bad teeth, an evil eye and especially a gypsy one with a curse up her sleeve! Overall its is a pretty good horror flick, although there are some outlandish gross out scenes which I wished Sam Raimi had kept to a minimum like the witch vomits some weird substance all the time. But hey, would you expect any less from the master of 80s horror who brought you the Evil Dead?

This is about a loan officer Christine and her increasingly desperate attempts to get out from under the curse that the old lady has placed upon her. Christine learns from a fortune teller that the curse has summoned forth an evil spirit, a Lamina which will torment her for three days and literally drag her down to the fiery depths of Satan's realm. Definitely one of the best horror movies that I have seen in a while.
