An over-the-top mess, but in all the wrong ways. Drag Me to Hell features a woefully boring, "vulnerable", emotional whirlpool of a girl who is tortured by woefully stressful promotion concerns and a lugie-hacking demon lady, but can only stare blankly forward in confusion in return.
A painfully obvious, distastefully "crazy and shocking" movie that embraces all the cliche, campy "B-movie" tropes out there and drives them all to hell, furiously masturbating all the gross-out shock it can muster from every scene while masking itself as humorous.
A tedious watch.
