Review of Dracula's Daughter (1936) by Christopher S — 07 Dec 2008
Atmospheric Universal horror classic is a serviceable sequel to the original 'Dracula', but not among the best. The fog-shrouded sets and somber tone create an effective gothic atmosphere, and the colorful characters make for several memorable moments.
But it's slow-paced and stagey - as films from this era tend to be - and the plot is under-worked and familiar. But still, entertaining for fans of the classic Universal monsters.
