Review of Dracula's Daughter (1936) by Jason H — 30 Sep 2012
Gloria Holden delivers a good performance in this direct sequel to Dracula. Van Sloan is the only holdover to the original in this film. While in some ways it is better then Dracula from a story telling standpoint it certainly doesn't leave the same mark as the classic original.
What we have here is a good, well made film but in the end it is just a minor entry in the Universal Horror canon.
