Review of Dracula Untold (2014) by Citiprime — 12 Oct 2014
A new spin, to justify another telling of this oversold story. Special effects and action galore. Interesting and believable characters – fantastic make-up work. Part of a growing genre that attempts to convince the audience that heroes are so flawed that they are actually more (or equally) villain than the villain, and villains (wronged in a previous era) are actually acting under noble causes that justify their murderous/criminal activities.
Entertaining movie, but bothersome neo-philosophy.
