Review of Dracula Untold (2014) by Mike T — 02 May 2015
A maniacal and very tender, heartfelt stunner of a movie. Shifty, senile, totally rocking, totally scary and tender, lots of heart and lots of oddities and heart-pumping moments, with a ton of heart, drama, romance, family heroism, and disturbing battle scenes.
It was good for being kind of a quiet, tender and great movie, much like Hercules or Lucy before it, it was just another great popcorn movie with a little bit more than the Riddick tedium or cheesy Keanu movies for more city types.
I thought this movie had something for everyone and any decent person would just love this movie. In fact I recommend this to all my friends because it had a lot of fun and it was nothing short of perfection! It may have somehow, someway been a ten out of ten experience.
I thought it was quite neat! And it was very good for the people by the people and amazing for anyone that likes great movies. This was exceptional - Luke Evans was a super swampy and crazy man in this movie.
He had a lot going for him, family drama, excitement and romance that was much like Braveheart or the Matrix, there was just a ton of great scenes, surprises, swamp evil and general complexity in this new Dracula.
I personally thought it was spectacular intense crazy good and very unique in its grandeur complexity and maturity. It was not absolutely 100% perfect but 95% perfect still a ten out of ten.
