Review of Dracula Untold (2014) by Hunter S — 19 Aug 2015

This one really pisses me off because I can see glimmers of hope in certain parts ...but for every good scene, there are two mediocre scenes right behind it. I enjoyed Luke Evans as Dracula, but almost every other part is overacted. (minus the sultan, who should've been the over-actor, instead, we get a twerp with a bad accent) The action is clearly dumbed down for a PG-13 rating. A film about the horror icon Dracula shouldn't hold back on any account. This is clearly a missed opportunity.

Evidently Universal is trying to build an entire movie monster universe after this one. Please, get some quality writers for the sequel/crossover.
