"Universal, where did you get this Dracula? from a 99-cent store?".

Please Universal Pictures, Don't turn all of your classic movie monsters into dark, brooding superheroes because this idea will never work. Where did you get this new Dracula from anyway? A 99-cent store. For the love of God, Edward Cullen is more scary than Luke Evans. Evans is a fine actor but come on, this is the best Dracula he could come up with? First you ruined "The Three Musketeers" and now "Dracula"? Please don't waste your time on this "Underworld" wannabe, rent "Bram Stoker's Dracula" instead, it was directed by the great Francis Ford Coppola and it starred Gary Oldman as Dracula.

"Dracula Untold" re-imagines Vlad the Impaler (Evans) as a prince of Transylvania and as a dark warrior. No!, No!, No!, No!, No!, NO! Anyways, the villain of this piece of garbage is Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper), the leader of the Ottoman Empire. He wants a thousand boy soldiers for his army including Vlad's son, Ingeras (Art Parkinson). Vlad refuses Mehmed's proposal so he goes to the Broke Tooth Mountain to seek help from Master Vampire (Charles Dance). Once Vlad turns into the least scariest vampire since Edward Cullen, he gains creature powers and has the ability to transform into an army of bats.

His new powers are also a threat to his wife, Mina (Sarah Gadon) and son but Vlad only wanted to protect them and his people from the Turks. "Dracula Untold" is a cheesy and overcooked mess of a movie but now let's see if it has all of the ingredients to copy the "Underworld" franchise.

1. No Suspense. CHECK.

2. Awful Dialogue. CHECK.

3. Cheesy Special Effects. CHECK.

4. Lazy Direction. CHECK.

5. Dull Characters. CHECK.

6. A Terrible Script. CHECK.

7. A Boring Love Story. CHECK.

8. Two Big Thumbs Down. CHECK.

Bloodless, sharpless and toothless, "Dracula Untold" doesn't suck in blood, it just sucks in your money and time.
