Review of Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995) by Anna Q — 31 Jan 2013
Brooks returns to the horror spoof after the classic Young Frankenstein which was shaped around Frankenstein, in this film which is widely shaped around Coppola's film Bram Stoker's Dracula. The film is hardly as successful and only half as creative, but Mel Brooks is still unpredictable, witty and still has a taste for slapstick in this spoof that still beats a lot of latter ones in quality.
