Review of Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995) by I'm El Capitano! A — 20 Jan 2009
Incredibly unfunny spoof which became the nail in Mel Brook's feature film coffin. Nielsen is great as Dracula, but is let down by a terrible and unfunny script that only has maybe one or two decent jokes in the whole thing plus the fact that the film only works when they're spoofing the Tod Browning/Bela Lugosi version, but the digs at the Coppola movie are weak and totally lame.
Avoid.
