Review of Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972) by Gordon T — 07 Jul 2011
In the sixth Hammer Dracula film, the franchise is moved ahead a century to the then present time. Between the dubious premise, the annoying "modern" characters and dialogue and the exasperating hip score, Dracula A.
D. 1972 could have been a failed and forgettable movie - if it wasn't for one certain detail: Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee are effing AWESOME in this, more than making up for other weaknesses.
The low point of the series, perhaps, but among such great films it really isn't saying much.
