Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Ryan R — 13 Jun 2012
Being the fan of Kubrick that I was, I had to check this out. Upon first viewing I didn't laugh, or smile even, but my second viewing had me in tears! This is not only one of my most favorite comedic satires of all time, it is also one of my most beloved films of all time.
I can't reccomend it for everyone, but if you have the ability to imagine how scared people were of a situation like this happening in the 60's, you'll find humor somewhere. "MEIN FUHRER! I CAN WALK!".
