Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Steve B — 14 Apr 2014
Dr. Strangelove is a very well made film for its time, however it is not one of my favorite Stanley Kubrick films. The dialogue is very well written, and the performances of Peter Sellers as three extremely different characters are incredibly impressive.
However, the film is dated and there were long stretches of time that left me somewhat bored. I recognize the importance of Dr. Strangelove as a work of art, but it's not a movie that I will ever feel the need to think about or watch ever again.
