Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by X X — 16 Aug 2012
I never would have fingered Stanley Kubrick for a natural comedian, but a satirist maybe. Sure enough, "Strangelove" is one of the darkest and most iconic, profound, subversive, influential, and otherwise brilliant comedies I've ever seen.
It's as entertaining as when it first held the screen with a zany twist on an actual mortal fear of the day.
