Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Gabriel L — 29 May 2013
Something crazy just happened, I was on my way to review this film when it appeared to me on "QuickRate".
I think this was a pretty good movie, actually nothing exceptional (The Shining... ) but more like the simple "ok" side off Stanley Kubrick (Lolita...) This could be considered as a simple sarcastic comedy, but it has actually it's whole extremly politicaly engaged side, that's what makes it special. And at the time, this was definitly something.
