Review of Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) by Sean S — 04 Mar 2012
I just cannot abide this film. It is sincerely one of the most boring things I think I have ever sat through. I adore Stanley Kubrick, but this is by far his most overrated film. I'm aware of the Cold War period and that it was more tension than action, but the wit everyone claims this film has falls flat on me.
Believe me, I love my '50s and '60s classics, but this is not among them for me.
